This policy explains what happens to your data when you use Arya at aryalabs.co. Arya is built by Arya Labs, operated by Sercan Çidem in London, United Kingdom. For any privacy question, email sercan@aryalabs.co.
Your audio stays on your device
When you open a track in Arya, it is decoded, measured and mastered inside your browser. The audio file and the mastered WAV are never uploaded to our servers or to anyone else.
What the AI engineer sends
The AI engineer is optional. When you press “Ask the engineer”, your browser sends our server the track's measurements (loudness, true peak, crest factor, stereo correlation, band balance, duration and channel count), the style and target you chose, and any request you typed. Our server forwards these to Anthropic's Claude API to generate suggestions, and returns the result to your browser. We don't store these requests.
Anthropic processes this data as our service provider under its commercial terms. Please don't type personal information into the request box.
Hosting and logs
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like most web hosts, Vercel keeps short-lived technical logs of requests (such as IP address, time and the page requested) to run and secure the service. To prevent abuse, our server also keeps your IP address in memory for about a minute to limit how often the AI engineer can be called.
No cookies, no tracking
Arya doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts are served from our own domain, so your browser doesn't contact third-party font services.
If you email us, we keep the correspondence so we can reply and follow up. We don't add you to any mailing list.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email us and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes
If we change how Arya handles data, for example when paid plans launch, we'll update this page and the date above.
